The team at Minns Network Developments were appointed by HSBC Special Investments (land owner) to re-market approximately 16 acres of development land which was within an investment portfolio.
Our approach was to orchestrate the extension of an existing planning consent for up to 200,000 sq ft of B1, B2 or B8 of development, prepare a detailed marketing appraisal together with the appointed agents VSL and Partners, and work with highway consultants and cost consultants in dealing with highway and access issues.
Within approximately one year, a land sale of 13 acres was achieved to Owen Mumford who required the land to build its own campus.
The company then acquired the final 3.0 acre plot on behalf of a private family trust, who later sold the site to Oxford Products to facilitate their expansion.
